About Our LIbrary
Students will visit our library once a week for 50 minutes. During that time, we have a 25 minute lesson time and then a 25 minute "free" time where students can select their books and they play center activities.
Kindergarten and first graders are allowed to check out one book; second graders are allowed two books, and students in grades 3-5 are allowed three books. Books are due the following week; however, if a student isn't finished with their book, they are allowed to renew it once. If they aren't finished after the first renewal, and there are no other holds on the book, students can renew it as many times as necessary for them to finish reading it.
